The fact is that we do not have enough registered voters in Texas.
Last year, I was deputized in four counties and was able to register hundreds of new voters. It’s incredibly rewarding to see people get excited about participating in the democratic process and exercising their right to vote as they stand right in front of you.
The only way we can influence who represents us in Austin is by asking more people to become a part of the process and make their voices heard. I want to live in a state where the majority of Texans feel confident that their government is listening to them. That’s why I’m continuing to register voters with Battleground Texas and getting re-deputized this month. And that’s why I encourage others in the county to get deputized as well.
